New 20-split-lug design on Pro M snare drums
In addition to three new finishes and two new configurations, Pro M Series snare drums now sport a 20-split-lug design for greater tuning precision and a sleek, contemporary look. Now all Pro M components have identical low-mass, single-point-of-contact lugs.
8-coat transparent or sparkle lacquer finishes or Delmar® wrap finish
Whether you choose a genuine Delmar® wrap finish or an eight-coat transparent or sparkle lacquer finish, your Pro M will look great for years to come.
Isolated bass drum tom mount system
The bass drum's non-penetrating I.T.S. double tom holder isolates the bass drum shell from any vibration from the tom toms.
2.3mm chrome steel Mapex Powerhoop
Toms and snares are equipped with exclusive Mapex Powerhoops. Made from 2.3mm chrome steel, the Mapex Powerhoop provides flex resistance without adding unnecessary weight that may mute the drum.
Non-penetrating Mapex I.T.S System
The tom's mount is secured via the lugs and is not drilled directly into the shell. The Mapex I.T.S. System allows the shell to vibrate freely, allowing for maximum projection and resonance.
Include double braced Mapex hardware
Pro M sets are equipped heavy-duty double braced hardware.
Low mass, single-point-contact lugs
Mapex's low mass lugs are secured to the shell via only one point of penetration. Fewer holes in the drum shell means less vibratory interruption, resulting in truer tone and unimpeded resonance.
Remo® drum heads
All Pro M drums are equipped with Remo® drum heads.
